Impact Women’s Ministry

The objective of the Women's Ministry is growth. It is a fellowship where women can grow in the knowledge, understanding and application of God's Word. A place where they can be strengthened, uplifted and learn from one another. The women of Woodland make a point to gather together weekly, at the church and outside of church.
They have a Women's Sunday school class (bible study) at 9am on Sunday mornings. A Bible study series by Beth Moore with comprehensive personality study are the two most recent studies. The Sunday school Bible study breaks for summer vacation June through September.
They also meet for breakfast, coffee and/or good conversation every Thursday morning at 8am at the Breakwater restaurant on US-2 in Ironwood. (Each women is responsible to purchase her own breakfast.) The ministry hopes to encourage all women and openly invites "all women" who are interested to join them Thursday at 8am and also Sunday at 9am.
Periodically they have social nights hosted by members at their houses, movie nights hosted at the church and dinner socials at various restaurants in the area. Each year the women decide on a destination and attend a Christian Women's Retreat weekend where they can be refreshed, renewed and revitalized by the fellowship in the Word.
